I learned about this recently and found it quite interesting. Alligators, crocodiles, lobsters , and a few other animals don’t actually die due to the effects of aging. They can basically just keep on going until they either suffer a horrible injury or succumb to disease.

That pretty much true for humans, too. Old age isn’t really the cause of death. Old age exacerbates the true cause. Old age used to be used as a cause of death because it was harder to determine what caused the person to die. Now, physicians are encouraged to find the cause.

I mean, the Hitler thing is pretty easy to disprove, the guy didn’t have an animal collection. A bunch of dogs and maybe some horses, but not a private zoo like Neverland Ranch. Hermann Gö ring did, though.

It was a rumor that had some currency, which is why they went with it. Its just weird that it was even a rumor in the first place.
